Psalm 46:1 tells us God is a very present help in trouble. The Hebrew word for help is `ezrah which is usually translated as supporter.

The best way for a child to learn is to guide him or her in finding out things for themselves. I know that isn’t always possible, but I see this verse in Psalms as illustrating the same thing.

God is my refuge and strength because he supports me always.

When you need support, God is there, ready to give it to you at any time.
