2273) Watching the news can be discouraging. The bad and evil things that people choose to do blow my mind. But when I read James 2:10, I realize I’m in the same boat as with these people.

James 2:10 tells us that whoever breaks God’s law in any way, is guilty of breaking all of it.

In God’s eyes, even one disobedience brings us spiritual separation from God. (Thank God he’s provided a way of redemption through his son.)

As I reflect on the content of this “minute,” I realize that I’m not better than anyone featured on any news clip. I am still in need of repentance and a Savior.

We’re all in the same boat.
