Effective Leaders

2248) Most people are leaders in some form or another. Yes, I think there is a gift of leadership as seen in preachers, teachers, etc. But on some level, most of us are leaders.

You don’t have to be a “leader” in the formal sense, and Colossians 3:12 confirms this.

Paul tells us as God’s children, we need to be compassionate, kind, humble, meek and patient with others. When we do these things, we are leading people forward in life.

Can you imagine how the world would change if our leaders (including parents, coaches, teachers, etc.) were regularly compassionate, kind, humble, meek and patient?

If these things could happen, just think of the healing, joy, forgiveness granted and more in our world.

The best way to move in this direction is to make a daily choice to lead by example. It can be life-changing.
