2233) John 15:16 holds some of the most valuable nuggets of spiritual truth. It simply says, you did not choose me, but I chose you.
Without getting into a theological debate about free will and predestination, I remember a line I heard recently on The Chosen. It sums this up well.
“I (Jesus) have everything I need, but I want you.” Amazing.
