| 2190) From time to time, as I’m writing these “minutes,” I sense a surge of opposition within. The message is, how can you write these minutes when you struggle and fail at many of them? Often, I nod my head in agreement, but I continue writing because of the truth found within John 7:16. Here, Jesus states his teaching is not mine, but his who sent me. When I read this verse, I’m reminded that the message I write about comes from God and my prayer is that my words and actions don’t negate them. None of us are Jesus; we do not have the authority he has, but if we are a child of God, we have his spirit within us who yearns to use us for his purposes. The messages God leads me to write about are not about me. Thank God for that. |
