2146) Jesus told some parables (stories with one main point) in Matthew 25. Jesus was illustrating what the kingdom of heaven will be like.  

In studying these parables, it indicates that God will, one day, hand out rewards to those who have been faithful in the smallest things required of them.  (Matthew 25:23)  

These rewards are important because it’s hard to be faithful day after day after day and yet, this parable indicates that’s exactly what we’re supposed to do.  

If it seems like you’re not doing enough for God, look at the small things that are before you. They really are the big things.
