2131) Through the years as a teacher, I aim to teach my young scholars certain values, and one of them is found in Acts 20:35.  

Here we read the well-known verse, there’s a greater blessing in giving than in receiving.  

Thoughtful adults know this truth if they have, indeed, been a giver and I think it’s important for my students to experience this blessing.  

Matthew 6:4 takes this idea one step further. Not only is there a blessing from giving, but God will reward giving that’s done quietly, below the radar, sort-of-speak.  

Wouldn’t today be a good day to give? You get a blessing and the knowledge that God sees and will reward. Almost a buy one, get one free.
