2011) How’s your hearing? I’ve mentioned before that I find hearing my husband’s voice in a moving car difficult because I hear the background noise and it blends in with my husband’s.  

But what about my hearing when it comes to listening to God and others? Am I concentrating on what is being said or am I cultivating what I will say next in the conversation?  

Proverbs 18:2 tells us fools take no pleasure in listening and understanding. They’d much rather express their opinions and make little time for taking in what others are saying.  

Perhaps it’s a good idea to have our hearing checked, not only by a doctor but by ourselves.
