What’s on the Menu?

1921) Have you ever paused a moment and made observations of a menu beyond just looking to choose a meal? I have. I will see which dishes are pictured. I notice how expensive items are and more.

What would you think if the menu in your hand offered you strychnine salad? Mouse cheese? Fillet of gofer? Doesn’t do it for you?

John 6:35 tells us Jesus is the Bread of Life. How would this be noted on a menu if it’s considered a valuable thing? What would the price of such an item be?

There are other things offered on the menu of life. Why would you choose to order the soup of lies or the burger of unbelief? This chef will give these items for practically nothing, but they carry with them so many side effects.

Remembering there are many menus in our lives is important. The chef who offers the Bread of Life is offering so many good things on his menu. Will you take it and order from it?
